Software Tester

Role:  Software Tester (Manual + Automation)

Location:  Nottingham

Working Model:  Hybrid | 35-hour week

Salary:  Up to £42k + 10% Bonus + 10% Pension ~£50k Package

Let’s cut through the noise…

This isn’t a “sit in the corner and run test scripts” kind of role.

This is for a tester who actually thinks. Someone who challenges, improves, and spots what others miss.

You’ll be working on a modern eCommerce / logistics platform used at serious scale—touching everything from web apps to APIs and backend systems. It’s complex, fast-moving, and genuinely interesting work.

What you’ll actually be doing

  • Getting hands-on with manual + automated testing across web, mobile, desktop & APIs
  • Designing smart test scenarios (not just ticking boxes)
  • Building & maintaining automation frameworks (Playwright / Selenium / Selenide)
  • Working closely with Devs & stakeholders to improve quality, not just report bugs
  • Challenging how things are done and helping raise the bar across the team

Tech you’ll be around

  • Playwright (TypeScript)
  • Selenium / Selenide (Java)
  • Postman (API testing)
  • Git / Source control
  • Azure DevOps (nice to have)
  • SQL / Database testing
  • Performance tools (JMeter or similar)

What they’re looking for

  • ~3+ years in software testing
  • Strong experience testing web apps + APIs
  • Someone who understands how testing fits into the bigger picture
  • A problem-solver, not just a test executor
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

If you’ve touched automation and want to lean into it more, this is a great place to do it.

The package (this is where it stands out)

  • Up to £42k salary
  • 10% annual bonus (consistently paid)
  • 10% employer pension contribution
  • Realistically a £50k+ package

The extras that actually matter

  • 35-hour working week (rare these days)
  • 1 full day per month protected for learning
  • Free parking
  • Showers onsite (ideal if you train before/after work)
  • Regular team socials (good culture, not forced fun)

Why this role?

Because you’ll:

  • Be trusted to think, not micromanaged
  • Work on real-world, high-usage systems
  • Have time to develop properly (not just squeezed in)
  • Join a team that actually values quality engineering

If you’re a tester who wants to step up, get more technical, and have a voice, this is worth a conversation.

We welcome diverse applicants and are dedicated to treating all applicants with dignity and respect, regardless of background.

Business Development Lead

Role:  Business Development Lead

Location:  Coventry

Working Arrangement:  Hybrid

Salary:  Up to £60k

What this role actually is (without the fluff):
This isn’t just “sales.” It’s about spotting where we can genuinely help organisations do better, building trust with the right people, and turning that into long-term, meaningful work.

You’ll be the person connecting the dots between:

  • what clients actually need (often not what they say they need),
  • what we’re great at doing
  • where there’s real opportunity to grow.

What you’d do day-to-day

  • Getting out there (calls, meetings, events) and building relationships with organisations that could genuinely benefit from what we do
  • Turning conversations into opportunities — and opportunities into actual work
  • Owning the full journey: from first intro → understanding the problem → shaping the solution → closing
  • Working closely with the internal team so what we’re selling actually makes sense and delivers
  • Keeping a clear view of the pipeline (what’s coming, what’s stuck, what’s worth chasing)
  • Spotting patterns and opportunities — not just reacting to what’s in front of you
  • Helping shape how we talk about ourselves (proposals, messaging, positioning)

What success looks like

  • A steady flow of good-fit opportunities (not just volume for the sake of it)
  • Strong relationships where clients trust us early
  • Winning work that actually delivers impact — not just ticking revenue boxes
  • Helping the business grow in a way that feels intentional, not random

The kind of person suits this role

  • You’re naturally curious — you ask good questions and actually listen
  • You’re comfortable leading conversations (even with senior people) without being pushy
  • You’re commercial, but not transactional
  • You’re organised enough to manage a pipeline without it managing you
  • You like figuring things out — especially when there isn’t a clear playbook
  • You don’t need loads of structure to get moving, but you can create it when needed
  • You care about doing good work, not just closing deals

The less obvious bits (but important):

  • You’ll need to balance strategy and hands-on work — this isn’t just big-picture thinking
  • You’ll be working closely with a small team, so how you communicate and collaborate matters a lot
  • There’s probably a mix of autonomy and accountability — you’re trusted, but expected to deliver
  • You’ll need to be comfortable representing the business externally (you are the face of it in many cases)

Why this role is interesting

  • It’s not a “volume sales” role — it’s about thoughtful growth
  • You get real influence on how the company grows, not just hitting targets
  • You’re close to both the client side and delivery side, which is where the interesting decisions happen
  • It suits someone who likes building something, not just maintaining it

We welcome diverse applicants and are dedicated to treating all applicants with dignity and respect, regardless of background.

Front-End Developer

Role:  Front-End Developer

Location:  Nottingham

Working Arrangement:  Hybrid | 35-hour week

Salary: Up to £55k

I’ll keep this straightforward.

I’m working with a genuinely solid software business that builds products used at scale. This isn’t agency work or short-term projects, it’s a proper product environment where what you build actually gets used day in, day out.

They’re looking for a Front-End Developer who takes pride in their work. Someone who cares about clean UI, performance, and getting things right rather than just getting things done.

What you’ll be doing

This is a hands-on role where you’ll be building and improving real features, not just tweaking UI.

  • Developing modern, responsive front-end applications
  • Turning designs and wireframes into clean, maintainable code
  • Working closely with APIs and backend services
  • Debugging issues properly (not just quick fixes)
  • Contributing to new features and ongoing product improvements
  • Working as part of a collaborative Agile team

You’ll have a say in how things are built ,  not just what gets built.

Tech-wise

You’ll be working with:

  • React or Blazor
  • JavaScript, HTML, CSS
  • Accessibility standards (WCAG)

It would help if you’ve had exposure to things like REST APIs, Azure DevOps, Git, or TDD ,  but the fundamentals matter more here.

What they’re looking for

  • Strong front-end fundamentals
  • Comfortable working with APIs and understanding how the front end connects to the wider system
  • Someone who can debug properly and think things through
  • A developer who cares about usability, performance, and clean code
  • Someone who can work independently but also collaborate well

The package

  • Competitive salary
  • 10% bonus (this has been paid consistently for years)
  • 10% employer pension contribution
  • 35-hour working week
  • 1 full day a month dedicated to personal development (and it’s protected)

The rest

  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays + your birthday off
  • Additional leave as your tenure grows
  • Health and well-being support
  • Discounts and salary sacrifice options

Why this role stands out

It’s a good balance.

You’ve got a proper product, a stable environment, and the time to do things properly. You’re not being rushed constantly, and you’re given space to improve ,  which is rarer than it should be.

If you’re a Front-End Developer who wants a role where you can build well, keep learning, and still have a life outside of work, it’s worth a conversation.

We welcome diverse applicants and are dedicated to treating all applicants with dignity and respect, regardless of background.

Software Developer

Role:  Software Developer

Location:  Nottingham

Working Arrangement:  Hybrid – 2 days in the  office | 35-hour week

Salary:  Up to £55k

Let’s keep this simple…

If you’re a hands-on Software Developer who actually enjoys building things properly (not just patching legacy forever), this one’s worth your time.

You’ll be joining a cutting-edge tech business working on products that genuinely power real-world commerce, handling everything from order management to shipping at scale. This isn’t theory… this is software that businesses rely on daily.

  • Building and improving core platform features
  • Developing APIs, backend services & databases
  • Debugging properly (root cause, not quick fixes)
  • Working in a tight Agile team delivering real sprint value
  • Contributing ideas to the future roadmap (your voice matters here)
  • Collaborating with Devs, Testers & BAs to get things done

This is a fully hands-on role, you’re expected to code, think, and contribute.

Tech stack (what you’ll be using)

  • C# / .NET Core / .NET 6

  • Someone who can solve problems without hand-holding
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, delivery-focused team

The package (this is where it gets interesting)

  • Up to £55k salary
  • 10% bonus (paid consistently year after year)
  • 10% employer pension contribution
  • 35-hour working week (yes, really)
  • 1 full day a month dedicated to personal development – protected time

  • Extra holiday as you grow with the business
  • Health, wellbeing & mental health support
  • Discounts across major brands

We welcome diverse applicants and are dedicated to treating all applicants with dignity and respect, regardless of background.

Property Manager

Property Manager

Location: Nottinghamshire

Working Arrangement: Office based with travel around the UK

Salary: Up to £38k

This is not your typical property role. If you’re looking for variety, ownership, and the chance to operate at pace, this opportunity offers exactly that.

As a Property Manager, you’ll take full responsibility for your own geographical patch—becoming the go-to expert across a diverse and dynamic estate. From day one, you’ll be trusted to manage a wide range of property and estates matters, giving you exposure to everything from lease events and acquisitions to cost control and strategic projects.

No two days will look the same. One day you might be working with local authorities on infrastructure issues; the next, you could be supporting the relocation of a flagship site or navigating complex landlord negotiations. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the estate remains efficient, commercially viable, and ready to support high-performing retail operations.

You’ll also collaborate closely with senior team members, contributing to acquisitions and broader strategic initiatives while building your own expertise and influence within the team.

What you’ll bring

You’re someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment where priorities shift and deadlines matter. You take ownership of your work, stay organised under pressure, and bring a sharp eye for detail. You’re comfortable interpreting data and using it to support decision-making at a senior level, and you’re confident managing multiple workstreams at once.

You’ll also be adaptable, proactive, and willing to travel when needed, with a solid working knowledge of MS Office tools.

We welcome diverse applicants and are dedicated to treating all applicants with dignity and respect, regardless of background.

DevOps Manager

Role: DevOps Manager

Location: Remote  – UK-based preferred
Salary: Up to £70k plus benefits

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to take full control of the build, release, and deployment landscape for a suite of Java-based enterprise applications.

You’ll be the one making sure everything flows as it should-from code commit through to deployment- smoothly, reliably, and without drama.

Pipelines breaking? Fix them.
Builds taking too long? Speed them up.
Manual processes creeping in? Automate them away.

You’ll be working closely with developers, QA, and project teams, but this is very much a hands-on role where you’ll have the freedom to own the DevOps space and shape how things are done.

The environment you’re stepping into is a well-established software house with a strong Java focus. There’s a solid foundation in place, but plenty of opportunity to improve, optimise, and modernise how things are done-especially around automation, documentation, and future cloud strategy.

Day to day, you’ll be getting stuck into things like:

  • Building and refining CI/CD pipelines for Java applications
  • Integrating IBM EWM/RTC into automated workflows
  • Maintaining and improving scripts that handle server installs and upgrades
  • Embedding code quality checks through SonarQube
  • Managing Maven-based builds and release processes
  • Packaging and deploying applications into Wildfly and SQL Server environments
  • Working with engineers to remove bottlenecks in the delivery process
  • Documenting everything clearly so nothing lives only in your head

The tech for this mission is:

  • Java & Maven
  • IBM EWM / RTC
  • CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
  • SonarQube
  • InstallAnywhere
  • Wildfly & Microsoft SQL Server
  • Scripting (Bash, Python, Groovy)

There’s also a bit of a “what next?” element to this role.

If you’ve got experience (or interest) in Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), or Infrastructure as Code, you’ll have the chance to influence where things go next- particularly as the business looks at evolving its infrastructure.

This is one of those roles where you won’t be buried in tickets all day.

You’ll have the space to step back, look at the bigger picture, and improve systems properly- not just patch over cracks. If something’s inefficient, you fix it. If something’s missing, you build it.

You’ll need to be someone who genuinely enjoys making systems better. Someone who spots problems before they become problems, and takes pride in clean, reliable, well-documented solutions.

It’s a fully remote setup, flexible, and built around trust. No micromanagement, no unnecessary noise—just a team focused on building solid software properly.

If you like the idea of owning the DevOps function and making a real impact across how software is delivered, this could be right up your street.

If this sounds like it was made for you, get in touch and let’s have a chat about your next move.

This advert will self-destruct in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1…

BOOM

We welcome diverse applicants and are dedicated to treating all applicants with dignity and respect, regardless of background.

You’ll collaborate with marketing to support campaigns that drive interest and enquiries, while also exploring how new tools—especially AI—can improve how we generate and convert leads. Over time, you’ll begin to spot patterns, connect the dots across the sales funnel, and contribute ideas that improve performance.

You’ll also support account development by helping identify opportunities within existing clients, and keep everything organised within our CRM so nothing slips through the cracks.

  • You’re organised, detail-focused, and enjoy keeping things on track

In this role, you’ll be part of a collaborative delivery team working across websites, mobile apps, desktop applications, and APIs, helping ensure that everything released to users performs reliably and meets high standards.
