Principal Cloud Consultant – AWS

Role: Principal Cloud Consultant – AWS
Location: Leicestershire

Working Arrangements: Hybrid with 2 days per week, on average, in the office or on client site
Salary: Up to £150,000 plus benefits

You’re a senior cloud professional who loves mixing big-picture strategy with rolling up your sleeves on the tech. One day you’re leading a workshop with senior stakeholders, the next you’re deep in AWS, designing solutions, building PoCs, or helping engineers troubleshoot something tricky.

You’ve delivered large-scale cloud projects, know your way around Kubernetes, containers, and CI/CD, and you’re comfortable talking tech with both engineers and board members alike. You’ve been doing this for a while now and maybe feel like your skills aren’t being stretched enough where you are – so finding a role that lets you shape vision and still keep your hands on the tech is exactly what you’re after.

Sound familiar? Then keep reading – this could be your next role.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Lead cloud strategy and architecture for major enterprise clients in finance, tech, and consumer goods.
  • Support engineering teams with design, PoCs, and hands-on technical leadership.
  • Balance high-level client work with hands-on delivery.
  • Play a key role internally too – from mentoring and line management (up to 4 people), to hiring and thought leadership.
  • Adapt to different client needs, whether that’s a quick-fire engagement or a long-term transformation.

What we’re looking for:

  • A strong background in cloud engineering and architecture – especially AWS and, to a lesser extent, Azure.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, containers, CI/CD, microservices, and event-driven design.
  • Someone who can bring a sense of gravitas in front of C-Suite stakeholders and still enjoys being on the tools.
  • A collaborative leader who gets stuff done, and is pragmatic, professional, and direct.

Why this role?

  • The best of both worlds – influence at the highest level while staying close to the tech.
  • Hybrid working with flexibility and variety – client site, office, or home.
  • Competitive salary (up to £150k) with benefits.
  • The chance to shape not only client outcomes but also the consultancy’s future cloud capability.

If you love cloud tech, enjoy solving tough challenges, and want a role where strategy and hands-on delivery go hand in hand, then apply now or get in touch to find out more!

We welcome diverse applicants and are dedicated to treating all applicants with dignity and respect, regardless of background.

Location: Congleton, full-time on-site
Salary: £40k+ plus benefits
Keywords: C#.NET, VB.NET, SQL, APIs, ERP integrations

You’re the kind of person who doesn’t just write code – you connect the dots.

Databases, APIs, ERP systems… some people find them confusing, but you see them as pieces of a puzzle that you can’t wait to put together. And more than that, you love talking to people, digging into what they really need, and turning those conversations into smart, working software solutions.

If you’re ambitious, outgoing, and ready to take ownership of projects that make a real difference, then this could be the role that takes your career to the next level.

My client is a leader in automation and control solutions, with systems running in nearly 200 manufacturing sites worldwide. While they’ve got deep roots in the animal feed sector, they’re also expanding into other markets – so there’s plenty of variety to get stuck into.

This is a rare opportunity as well. You’ll be learning directly from their hugely experienced Software Integration Engineer, who’s got years of experience, giving you the chance to absorb their expertise and then make the role your own.

What you’ll actually be doing

  • Building clever integrations that link up customer ERP and reporting systems with on-site software
  • Dreaming up new ways to make data flow smoother – especially with APIs
  • Talking to customers, getting to grips with their needs, and turning that into elegant solutions
  • Heading out on-site (mainly UK, sometimes overseas) to commission projects and see your work in action
  • Troubleshooting, fine-tuning, and improving systems that keep factories moving
  • Working closely with teammates across the business to keep pushing integrations forward

What you’ll bring to the table

  • 2–5 years of solid software engineering or integration experience
  • Good knowledge of C#.NET, VB.NET, SQL, XML/JSON, web tech, and Visual Studio
  • Curiosity, initiative, and the confidence to work directly with clients
  • An outgoing personality – someone who wants to learn, grow, and really progress
  • A full UK driving licence (as you’ll be visiting sites)

It’d be a bonus if you know about…

  • Scripting (e.g. PowerShell)
  • Git/GitHub
  • Microsoft SQL Management Studio
  • Networking and servers
  • ERP or management systems like SAP or NetSuite
  • The automation industry

What’s in it for you

  • £40k+ salary, with overtime and call-out pay (£75/day)
  • Annual bonus scheme
  • 6% pension contribution
  • 23 days holiday (growing with service up to 28)
  • Gym membership and salary sacrifice perks (cars, bikes)
  • A golden chance to learn from an expert and carve out a long-term career path in integrations

If you’re ready to take the initiative, learn from the best, and put yourself on the fast track to progression, then this could be exactly what you’ve been waiting for. Apply now for immediate consideration!

Product Owner

Role:  Product Owner

Location:  Nottingham

Working Arrangement:  Remote (with monthly tribe meet-ups)

Salary:  Up to £55k

At Rebel, we don’t do dull job ads. Life’s too short to read corporate waffle, so let’s get straight to it.

My client is a fast-growing player in the energy tech world, shaking up an industry that’s been stuck in the dark ages of legacy systems for too long. They’re building smarter, faster, better ways for energy suppliers to operate – and now they need a Product Owner who knows the energy sector inside-out.

If you’ve worked with billings, payments, or similar areas in energy, this one’s got your name all over it.

Why this role rocks

  • 💻 Almost fully remote – no soul-crushing commute.
  • 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Monthly tribe meetings – where the team comes together, collaborates, and actually enjoys working with each other.
  • 🚆 Travel covered – train tickets on them, and if you’re over 60 miles away, they’ll even put you up in accommodation.
  • 🌍 Impact – you’ll be shaping products that are changing how global energy suppliers do business.

What you’ll be doing

  • Owning initiatives from the Product Manager and breaking them into clear, deliverable stories.
  • Working closely with engineering squads to bring those ideas to life.
  • Translating customer and stakeholder needs into real product solutions.
  • Driving user journeys and customer experiences (with the design crew at your side).
  • Keeping initiatives, KPIs, and documentation sharp, clear, and value-driven.

What we need from you

  • Energy sector experience (billing, payments, or anything in that world – non-negotiable).
  • Confidence in breaking down complex product requirements.
  • A background in agile ways of working.
  • Strong communication skills – you can bring people with you, not just tell them what to do.
  • A positive, collaborative mindset (because no one likes a grump in the squad).

The vibe

This isn’t a box-ticking, paperwork-pushing role. You’ll be right at the heart of delivery – part translator, part innovator, part organiser, and all-round product evangelist. If you want a role where you just sit quietly and nod, this isn’t it. But if you want to help shape the future of energy tech with a team that backs each other every step of the way, you’re in the right place.

At Rebel, we’re not just recruiters – we’re career matchmakers. We connect great people with game-changing businesses, without the corporate nonsense. So, if you’re looking for your next move in energy tech, join the Rebelution.

Are you a .NET developer who’s curious about more than just code? This is a chance to step out of routine SaaS or FinTech work and into the world of automation and robotics, where software meets hardware.

Senior React Engineer

Role: Senior React Engineer

Location:  Work from anywhere in the UK – Manchester, London, Scotland, Newport Pagnell…it really doesn’t matter.

Package:  £75k–£100k + healthcare + 25 days holiday + excellent work perks.

Let’s be honest: not every job is about building the next social media app or chasing the latest tech buzzword.

But what if your code could actually help save lives?

Imagine this: You’re part of a company that’s been quietly supporting the NHS and healthcare sector for over a decade, building software that keeps patients safe and helps care homes, practices, and hospitals run smoothly.

It might not sound “sexy” on the surface, but under the hood, it’s genuinely life-changing work.

Now, they’re on the brink of something big. We’ve got a stable, cash-rich business, private equity backing, and a bold plan to quadruple impact in the next four years.

That means modernising everything: moving from Angular to React, .NET to .NET Core/Azure, and building a tech team ready for the future.

This is where you come in.

We’re looking for a Senior React Engineer who’s done the hard yards…someone who’s capable of leading a team (not line managing, but guiding) through a major front-end transformation, who’s got scars, stories, and strong opinions, and who’s ready to mentor others on the journey.

You’ll be the subject matter expert, the go-to for all things React, and a key player in shaping how they build, scale, and deliver software that genuinely matters. You’ll help upskill the team, challenge the status quo, and make sure they’re not just following a plan, but building the right one.

What’s in it for you?

  • Real influence and seniority – be at the heart of a major tech transformation, not just another cog in the machine.
  • Real impact: Your work will help the NHS and care providers save lives and improve patient safety.
  • Growth: They’re scaling fast, with ambitious plans and the investment to make them happen.
  • Flexibility: Work from anywhere in the UK, with a team that values results and trust.
  • No corporate fluff: they’re a friendly, down-to-earth bunch who care about what they do and the people they work with.

What are they looking for?

  • Deep expertise in React and best practices, ideally with experience leading migrations from other frameworks (Angular, Vue, etc.).
  • Expertise in accessibility, internationalization, and localization with React
  • Strong all-round knowledge of modern front-end/JavaScript ecosystem and tools
  • Knowledge of unit and web testing using tools
  • A track record of mentoring and upskilling teams.
  • Experience in smaller, scaling businesses or ambitious SMEs (not just big corporates).
  • A passion for building software that makes a difference.

If you want to be part of a company where your work matters, where you’ll have a real say in how things are done, and where you can help shape the future of healthcare tech, we’d love to hear from you. Drop us your CV, or just Google us for a chat.

We welcome diverse applicants and are dedicated to treating all applicants with dignity and respect, regardless of background.
