Role: PHP Developer

Location: Lincoln

Working Model: 3–4 days a week in the office

Salary: Up to £42,900

What you’ll be doing

• Designing, building and maintaining backend services using PHP and Laravel
• Creating APIs and data models to support frontend applications and third-party integrations
• Improving performance, reliability and security across the platform
• Working with frontend and customer teams to deliver smooth integrations
• Supporting users through second- and third-line technical issues
• Reviewing code, sharing knowledge and promoting best practices
• Helping shape the technical roadmap and identifying new tools and technologies
• Mentoring junior developers and supporting their growth
• Keeping documentation up to date and contributing to continuous improvement

What we’re looking for

• Strong experience in PHP and Laravel development
• Good understanding of backend architecture and database design
• Confident working with APIs, integrations and data-driven platforms
• Comfortable collaborating with both technical and non-technical teams
• Experience mentoring others or leading small projects
• Interest in continuous learning and improving how things are done
