Property Manager

Property Manager

Location: Nottinghamshire

Working Arrangement: Office based with travel around the UK

Salary: Up to £38k

This is not your typical property role. If you’re looking for variety, ownership, and the chance to operate at pace, this opportunity offers exactly that.

As a Property Manager, you’ll take full responsibility for your own geographical patch—becoming the go-to expert across a diverse and dynamic estate. From day one, you’ll be trusted to manage a wide range of property and estates matters, giving you exposure to everything from lease events and acquisitions to cost control and strategic projects.

No two days will look the same. One day you might be working with local authorities on infrastructure issues; the next, you could be supporting the relocation of a flagship site or navigating complex landlord negotiations. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the estate remains efficient, commercially viable, and ready to support high-performing retail operations.

You’ll also collaborate closely with senior team members, contributing to acquisitions and broader strategic initiatives while building your own expertise and influence within the team.

What you’ll bring

You’re someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment where priorities shift and deadlines matter. You take ownership of your work, stay organised under pressure, and bring a sharp eye for detail. You’re comfortable interpreting data and using it to support decision-making at a senior level, and you’re confident managing multiple workstreams at once.

You’ll also be adaptable, proactive, and willing to travel when needed, with a solid working knowledge of MS Office tools.

We welcome diverse applicants and are dedicated to treating all applicants with dignity and respect, regardless of background.

Fractional CTO

Role:  Fractional CTO – Industrial Automation

Location:  Nottingham, East Midlands

Working Arrangement:  1–2 Days/Week – Hybrid

Salary:  £350 – £600 per day

Shape the technical leadership of a high-growth engineering venture.

We’re working with a cutting-edge UK company developing complex, high-value industrial hardware. Their product bridges mechanical, software, and robotic disciplines – so they’re seeking a Fractional CTO to help guide their multidisciplinary R&D and engineering teams as the business scales.

This is a leadership/facilitation role – not a technical deep dive.

The ideal person will be able to empower the senior technical team, ensure cohesion across engineering and product streams, and help shape the roadmap. Experience leading robotics or mechatronic R&D teams, especially in capital equipment, would be a major plus, although an engineering leader from deep-tech, industrial machinery or automotive backgrounds may be considered (both mechnical and software engineering must have come under your remit in previous roles).

Key requirements:

  • Experience leading software/mechanical/robotics engineering teams
  • Background in complex R&D programmes for capital-intensive products
  • Strong communicator and facilitator of high-performing technical teams
  • Available to be onsite in the UK East Midlands c.50% of the time

This is an ideal opportunity for a technical leader who prefers working through influence, context, and structure – rather than architecture reviews or deep technical intervention.  Your role will be to guide the team and ensure projects are delivered using a combination of your people, stakeholder management and technical expertise.  You’ll play a key supporting role to the founder, essentially sitting between him and the technical teams, freeing him up to take the business forwards whilst you take ownership over the delivery of both commercial customer solutions and R&D projects.

On offer is a day rate of between £350 – £600 per day – though the remuneration will be flexible depending on the exact nature of the engagement.

Working Arrangement:   2–3 Days/Month – Onsite

Salary:  £800 – £1500 per day

A rare opportunity to influence the trajectory of a high-growth, disruptive capital equipment engineering scale-up.

Controls Engineer

Role:  Controls Engineer x 2

Location:  Nottingham

Working Arrangement:  Based in the office 50% of the time with 50% travel

Salary: Competitive

We’re helping a thriving, niche automation and controls business hire 2 new Control Software Engineers to join their growing team. They’re investing in the next generation of engineers – people with a few years’ experience under their belt, but who are hungry to learn, travel, career-focused and want to grow with a company on an upward curve.

The company are open minded about your background – as long as you have worked as a Controls / Automation Engineer for 2 years or more and have a fantastic attitude to learning they will invest in training and getting you up to speed in their industry.

  • Around 2–5 years of experience writing control software (PLC programming, C)
  • The flexibility and mindset of a “Swiss Army knife” engineer – happy to switch hats as needed
  • A driving licence and a willingness to travel nationally and internationally for customer installs, testing and commissioning

There’s a strong, close-knit team here who support and look out for each other, so you’ll be working in a positive environment under a forward-thinking CEO who is determined to create the right environment to support your development.

You’ll need to be up for getting stuck in – sometimes working late on-site, sometimes handling a tricky customer install abroad.

But if you like the sound of being part of a company that recognises and rewards commitment (they just gave a significant raise to one of the team who has only been with them a few months because of his work ethic!), it might be a perfect fit.

Working with a small start-up company in the tech4good space, I am looking for you- someone who has come from the maritime industry, can speak to jargon, understand how things work, and garner respect from the people therein.

In this role, you will be customer-facing: using all your knowledge and insight to work closely with maritime companies, to understand how they captain their ships and getting their behavioural data to turn it into actionable insights on how they can make small changes to reduce their fuel consumption, reduce their carbon emissions, and save money.

In this company, you will be surrounded by people who are all pulling in the same direction, who care deeply about the industry, and are great at what they do.

As you can imagine, good communication skills, a natural curiosity and desire to solve customer and user problems, and knowledge of the different systems and data onboard ships, including 3rd party maritime systems and data available, are necessary for you to perform this role really well.

You will be working in a modern Agile environment and will be taught any skills that you don’t have in this area, from Excel, Python, and SQL, to modern software delivery practices, DevOps principles, etc.
