GIS Technical Officer

Role:  GIS Technical Officer

Location:  Cambridge – twice a week

Salary:  Circa £32K

Got a passion for conservation? Are you someone who wants to work towards keeping natural resources safe, and concern yourself with the manmade plastics and waste that constantly threaten our planet? How would you like to collaborate with others who have the same passion for biodiversity in a consorted effort to make a change?

I’m currently with an organisation that puts the natural world at the heart of its cause. They’ve done so much as a body to shed light on the major crises that attack the natural world and work twice as hard to preserve resources and prevent damage and loss from the forest to the ocean. As a Technical Officer, you’ll be providing ideas and insight into various GIS-related projects, using cutting-edge tools to drive forward successful efforts to reinforce crucial data needed to sustain biodiversity.  You’ll report to a senior Technical Officer who will show you the ropes and guide you when needed, but this role will allow you to really step into a professional environment and get involved with responsibilities that have a huge impact on the world around you!

If you’re a Geography grad and have used ArcGIS throughout your degree, you’d be a good contender for sure. Scripting is also a big part of this role, so basic knowledge of Python, SQL and R will be required to be suggested for the position. If you understand data, Geospatial data, data mapping etc, then please do consider yourself a potential prospect for the position!

The role is based in Cambridge, and you’ll be looking at coming in twice a week with flexible hybrid working opportunities.

Robots. You love them. No, not the red-eyed, murderous laser shooting type; the ones that make global warehousing and logistic operations tick over smoothly.

You’ve worked in environments where people have come to you when there’s an issue with the machinery, hardware or software underpinning these systems.

You’ll have been part of a team that has implemented such automation solutions into your employer or you will have done so for external customers. As an engineer at heart, you’ll know exactly how such automation solutions need to be implemented and integrated into WMS to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.

Senior Recruitment Account Manager

Role:  Senior Recruitment Account Manager

Salary:  £25k – £40k + Bonuses

Location:  Nottingham – Hybrid

You’re bloody good at what you do.  You work hard and have always got results, but you hate being micromanaged or working in a pushy, ‘salesy’ recruitment culture.

You want to work somewhere where you are treated like a grown-up in a drama-free culture, where you can make a mark in a small, growing company.

Maybe you’ve had some time out of recruitment to raise a family and now need somewhere that’s family-friendly with flexibility. Or maybe you love the idea of switching over to the tech sector?

Either way, you might just be our kind of Rebel Recruiter!

We founded Rebel in 2015 as a tech recruitment company determined to do things differently. We aimed to cram it full of intelligent and passionate recruiters who are ambitious and driven, but also humble and honest.

We are now looking to hire an experienced recruiter to join us in a multi-faceted account development/growth role.

We have a multitude of existing accounts and are winning new clients every single month, so we’re looking for someone who can confidently manage and develop relationships with existing clients, including actively resourcing for roles across IT, Software Development and Operations (support will be given, so you don’t need previous IT recruitment experience).

If you’re great at developing client relationships and have high levels of urgency and professionalism, then you’ll fit right in!

You will have done business development previously and will have that ‘hunter’ mindset to bring to account development – this isn’t purely a resourcing role; you will proactively manage and develop relationships looking for additional opportunities and strengthening our relationships with clients.

You’ll need at least 18 months’ recruitment experience, with a previous track record of successful client acquisition and development.

You’ll also be based within commutable distance of Nottingham, as you’ll need to come into the office at least once or twice a week for collaboration and camaraderie!

We are open to considering people from finance, HR, legal, Engineering or any other professional recruitment sector.  If you have a background in blue-collar recruitment, you’ll need to show you can successfully transition to a high-value, low-volume recruitment role.

On offer is a basic salary between £25k – £40k + bonuses worth £6k – £30k dependent on performance.  We also have regular team meals, charity activities, days out and incentives, as well as regular in-house knowledge-sharing sessions and training.

If this sounds like your kind of place then go ahead, hit that apply button or give us a call (Google us!)

Business Central Developer

Business Central Developer

Salary: £60 – £80k

Liaising with finance or working with an ERP system, but fancied being a developer instead of an accountant?  If so, read on!  This may just be the role for you!

You will be the first Business Central Developer in the business, so you’ll have the opportunity to reshape and put procedures into place.  I’m not going to lie, you will have to be prepared to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in as they have been using an outsourced company to fix the issues, and this will require you to look at the whole system and ensure that it is running smoothly.

Communication skills will be key as the department has been crying out for someone to listen to their needs and ensure that the system is fully functional for the business needs. Diplomacy will be key here.

If a challenge is what you are after this is a great opportunity, to tailor and redesign the system as required. There are lots of requirements to capture, as well as UX configuration, implementing new features and technical support elements.
