Role: Business Analyst – 6 Months Contract
Location: Nottingham
Working Arrangement: Hybrid – 2 days a week onsite
Salary: Market Rate (Inside IR35)

This is a proper hands-on contract where you’ll sit right in the middle of product, tech, and stakeholders, shaping what gets built and how it delivers value.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be the glue between business and engineering — turning ideas into well-defined, deliverable work.
- Taking high-level asks and turning them into clear, structured requirements
- Working closely with dev teams to shape solutions and break work down properly
- Owning backlog quality — detailed stories, acceptance criteria, zero ambiguity
- Keeping delivery on track — spotting risks early and pushing things forward
- Running workshops, demos and stakeholder sessions with confidence
- Making sure what’s delivered actually matches what was needed
This isn’t a “sit back and document” role — you’ll be right in the thick of delivery.
What you’ll bring
- Strong Business Analysis experience in a fast-paced product/tech environment
- Confident communicator — able to challenge, influence and align stakeholders
- Sharp attention to detail (you spot gaps others miss)
- Experience working closely with engineering teams in Agile environments
- Ability to juggle priorities without dropping standards
Bonus points if you’ve worked with:
- Data querying / validating outputs
- APIs (understanding inputs/outputs, testing, validation)
