Job type: Full Time

Data Architect

Role: Data Architect

Location: Birmingham, hybrid working – 2 days a week in the office

Package: Up to £80k, negotiable for the right candidate plus a bonus

There are a few companies that use their data well.

There are others who have all the tech to do amazing things, but very little real-world data to apply it to.

And then there are the companies who are sitting on vast treasure troves of data that they have accumulated over the years…but they know they could be doing so much more with it! That’s where this company is right now.

The business has grown rapidly over the years and the data team has grown with it. This role will be one of 2 senior positions within the data team and is part-operational and part-architecture focused, so would suit someone coming from a hands-on Data Engineering role looking to move into architecture.

You will support the database application landscape and build out the strategic data platforms that they are moving forward to. Snowflake was introduced into the business a few years ago and this is something that will become a prominent feature in the business going forwards.

You will keep abreast of the latest technologies within data and demonstrate a leadership mindset. Data vault is something that would be nice to have, however you don’t need to have used this in a commercial setting, as long as you are aware of the basic concepts and the advantages that it offers.

You will act as a data technology evangelist, using your knowledge of up-to-date tools, trends and capabilities.

You’ll have hands-on experience in defining, implementing and supporting a production database, with especially strong skills within Azure and SQL.

You’ll be used to working in DevOps-driven environments with CI/CD, automation and containerisation technologies

As well as a salary up to £80k, you will be rewarded for your hard work with a great bonus, dental and family healthcare, global travel insurance and share scheme options as well as the standard benefits.

If you fancy a chat to see if this could be the right move for you, hit the apply button or give us a call to find out more!

Senior Client Success Manager

Role: Senior Client Success Manager

Location: Birmingham/London/remote

Salary: £45,000 to £50,000

Problems aren’t left unsolved when you’re involved.

Relationships are nurtured and developed on your watch and you get *great* results.

But something is missing where you are.

Maybe you want to get your teeth into more complex and sophisticated client problems.

Maybe you’re looking for somewhere that will nurture your professional development and provide you with opportunities to progress your career.

Well.

I’m working with an award-winning organisation in the psychology assessment market, providing development and recruitment solutions to organisations across the globe.

There’s something about what they do, their culture and the people who work there that ticks so many boxes for people. It’s somewhere that hires carefully and chooses exceptional people to deliver software and services used by some of the most prestigious companies anywhere to be found.

You’ll take ownership of some of their most significant client accounts, so you’ll need to use your relationship-building skills to gain an in-depth understanding of your client’s needs, work with senior stakeholders across challenging and complex projects, and provide solutions to their problems.

You’ll be collaborating with internal teams to deliver the best possible service, coordinating with experts across psychology, engineering, and commercial and leading cross-functional teams to ensure you are delivering the right outcome to the client.

Some coaching/management experience would be ideal as you’ll have at least 1 direct report in the team, although this isn’t essential – as long as you want to get into line management, their internal development course will help you get there!

They’re flexible on your industry background, but you do need to have:

  • At least 5 years experience in a client-facing role
  • A proven track record of delivering projects and solutions to the highest standard
  • Natural curiosity and proactive approach

They are looking to pay up to £50k + a yearly discretionary bonus, but they’re open-minded and they may pay more for the right person. Location-wise, you are flexible to choose either their London or Birmingham office as your ‘home office’ and you can work remotely, with the expectation to come into the office at least once a month (for social gatherings) and of course, for face-to-face client visits.

If this sounds like you, even a little, let me know,
