Sitting on a mountain peak somewhere exotic, soaking in the perfect panorama whilst taking a swig of your favourite beverage, all whilst doing the work you love and feeling valued. Feel freeing, right?
…or you could be sitting in your bedroom in your PJs dancing around to your guilty pleasures – it makes no difference in this job!
With this role you’ll be doing stuff that really gets your inner geek going but you’ll also working for founders who value things other than money, and who genuinely want (and do!) to make the world a better place.
A company who has our same Rebel spirit!
If Web Hosting and WordPress are your geeky pleasures, you’re an all-round nice human being and you can demonstrate knowledge in web hosting, email, and WP support then these guys are already excited to talk to you!
If along with this, you have a burning passion to use your PHP skills from time to time, consider yourself at the top of the pecking order!
Maybe you’ve worked with a cooperate Hosting business where you’ve provided support to a few customers on issues they’re having with their newly built site but you’re not getting to use the full range of people and technical skills you have in your armoury.
Or maybe you just want to move away from the salesy, upselling nature of hosting support and want to deliver a more ethical and personally invested service to help small business owners’ dreams and goals?
The story here is that this ethically led, small web hosting business of 5 has a rapidly growing customer base of clients who are all being supported personally by the company’s co-founder. The workload in increasing as they grow, so they need a superstar to come in and provide the same, personalised tech support service the customers have become used to.
They need a true listener who identifies the sources of people’s tech issues without jumping to assumptions and who is flexible if work takes a bit longer than expected, never giving up until the problem is solved and the customer loves the company even more!
They’re all about making a difference and making work feel less like work, so you’ll be part of a company that helps the environment, makes time for and gives money to charities and is always looking for ways it can increase its positive impact on the world around us.
How many people get the chance to work somewhere like this?!
