We know there are lots of jobs out there for you. It’s confusing which one to go for. The world has gone both developer and remote working mad, and that causes you a problem; it seems there is so much choice and it’s hard to separate the good from the not-so-good!
Well, we want to make this easy for you, so here’s the sketch.
They’re one of those successful traditional non-tech companies who have very quickly become a SaaS business in recent times. They provide unique psychology based consulting and software services used by some of the most high profile companies in the world. They are expanding internationally and are investing heavily in creating an industry-leading engineering and product development team.
Why work for them:
Put simply, every developer we have put forward to them this year has wanted to work there. There is something about their culture, their technology and how they work that ticks so many boxes for people working in software engineering. It may be a stretch to say that they are a developer-led company….but they’re not far from it. They’re a non-political, intelligent and fiercely ambitious bunch who work together incredibly collaboratively to create one of the most stand-out companies in their industry.
Having significantly grown their .NET engineering team this year, they are looking for an additional Team Leader to join one of their squads. They’re looking for an experienced senior software developer highly capable with C#/ .NET Core, but also able to work with other frameworks/languages such as Angular, Typescript etc.
You will ideally have worked in a SaaS setup previously, with experience developing software for Azure, defining infrastructure as code and using platform-as-a-service components. You’ll be comfortable in a DevOps / NoOps environment where production systems are automated managed by the development team.
You’ll have had some previous team leading or line management experience and will be a capable mentor, leading from the front and enabling the developers in your team to do their best work by facilitating and supporting them.
Offered on a largely remote basis (travel into Birmingham less than once a month on average), the role is paying £55k – £75k + share scheme + 25 days holiday + 5% pension.
