Position: Senior / Lead Python (Django) Developer

Opportunity: Working with the leading tech platform to connecting people within a $40b target market

Salary: £65k to £90k (dependent on experience)

Location: Remote

There are some apps we have on our phone that are absolutely indispensable to our everyday lives.  Uber, Amazon, Deliveroo *cough* Tinder.  Granted, many of them are evil and we use them reluctantly – their seductive usability and convenience impossible to resist.  BUT this company are one of the wholesome ones, developing a platform to connect busy people with service professionals and making sure everyone gets an amazing experience in the process.  And their plans are HUGE!

This company’s platform is already used by thousands of everyday, busy people.  The market potential is huge and only going to get bigger, and they are already the biggest player in their space. 

You’d be joining an established development team of 12, but one that will be growing steadily over the next few months.  It’s an opportunity to join a high-energy business led by an experienced SaaS business leader who knows how to balance creating awesome products, fast-growth and developing a brilliant internal culture for people to do their best work.

Their product is Python based using the Django framework, so ideally this will be your background too.  However, they are potentially open to people who have used other full-stack backgrounds (PHP, Perl, React/Node/Angular etc.) but are happy to switch to Python.

They also use a mixture of React, Next, Angular and Typescript for some of their services as well as Ionic for their mobile apps.

Maybe you’re currently working as a full stack developer in another framework, but you want to work at a company with a higher ceiling in terms of growth and opportunity and don’t mind switching to Python, or maybe you’re an experienced Python developer who loves the idea of working somewhere thoroughly modern and ambitious and with people who a strong set of values.  Either way, we’d be happy to consider you and see if this could be worth considering for you.
