Salary: £70,000 – £85,000 + shares and benefits

We’re working with a company tackling waste; food waste, furniture, books, equipment, clothing, you get the idea – take resources that some people need, where others have plenty and create a space where both sides win.

They’re already a global success with their app live in 150+ countries.

They’ve always been remote and do a lot to ensure their teams are not just succeeding in work but are genuinely happy, rather than overstretched.

You’ll be working with a technical team of around 25, growing to around 40 in the coming 12-18 months, where every single person on the team contributes their own ideas, has a shared goal for the platform and most importantly, wants to increase impact.

The business has been defining its progress frameworks, so everyone knows how to advance their careers and grow.

Their main app is built with React Native and that’s where they need someone to add their skills to the team, in a senior capacity to help others around them grow, catch little mistakes people make and correct, pair, and write good, clean code with scalability and tech investment in mind.

Ideally, you’ll have a good understanding of testing, their devs work closely with the QA team to improve testing capabilities, so exp with Cypress, integration and unit testing will stand out.

Critically though, you need to have a passion for tackling the climate crisis. They want people who have a good awareness of the scale of the problem and the urgency with which we must act to overcome the challenges ahead.
