Product Owner Full Time

Role: Product Owner

Location: Hybrid working (travel to York/Derby offices once a week) – Permanent

Salary: up to £65K

The role Is based in Derby, but they have an office in York as well. However, you can WFH as long as you’re able to travel to either office roughly once a week at a minimum.

The company works within infrastructure, providing software solutions within the construction/rail engineering sector. They’re looking for someone with a technology/Systems Engineering background, but if you have experience with Track Geometry or computer/machine vision then you could still be considered for this role. As a Product Owner, you will be at the forefront of requirements gathering, and understanding exactly what your clients are asking for, before creating high quality documents that can be shared with the technical team (QA, testers, architects etc).

You’ll also need to be someone who has high levels of energy and passion. It’s your voice that will be heard, so a good communicator who can build relationships with colleagues and customers will go far within this role.

Here are some of your responsibilities as a Product Owner:

• Managing and communicating product roadmaps to the strategy team and Technical Leads
• Producing and updating product requirements
• Maintain requirement traceability throughout the delivery lifecycle
• Regularly speaking with customers in a customer facing situation
• Be the link between project management and engineering team
• Support the Project Manager and drive the workforce towards product success.
