Role: Principal Lead DevOps Engineer
Location: Birmingham (Hybrid)
Salary: £85-90k

I’m looking for a real techie, someone who knows how tech can transform a business and has excellent communication/relationship skills to help others understand.
Performance matters & everyone plays their part without any “typical politics” the team has a vision & it needs to now build its foundations with DevOps.
The company is SAAS first, everything is in the cloud & they are Azure-based, you will be implementing DevOps best practices, creating CI/CD Pipelines & containerization with Kubernetes & Jenkins.
A solid understanding of Private cloud, IaaS, PaaS & SaaS is a must, you will be involved in designing infrastructure architecture and keeping up to date with modern technology.
If you have previously worked as a Dev this would also be desirable as you will need a broad knowledge of software development techniques, processes & best practices mainly around Java, .Net & Agile practices.
The company is at a huge growth stage & in the past few years have set up branches in London, Manchester & Birmingham. Once you have set up the DevOps function you will also have the chance to build your own team.
They currently meet a couple of times a week in Birmingham for a catch-up & meetings but are quite flexible as a business.
On offer is a basic at £85-90k, plus bonus, dental & health care for the family & you, 10% pension & lots more!
