Are you passionate about nature? Have you ever felt like you could use your skills to make a positive difference, but just needed the right opportunity?
If you want to help create a lasting impact in slowing down the damaging effects humankind has been having on the world around us for decades, read on!
We are working with an organization that is all about using tech to improve the natural world around us, building tools and software to give decision-makers the data and insights needed to effect change. They are looking for someone to project manage the full lifecycle of their organisation’s extensive data driven hosted solutions.
They have several digital initiatives they need to deliver, some of them really exciting in scope and scale. However, they need a talented and passionate Technical Project Manager to lead the charge, collaborating with their highly qualified and passionate scientists and researchers who all work together tirelessly to accelerate the preservation and development of the natural environment globally.
One of the challenges will be to manage multiple projects contracting with third party development teams. As you will be tasked with ensuring effective working relationships with key stakeholders, partners and staff within an international setting, as well as lead quality assurance and risk management in relation to the projects, any experience coaching others and successfully delivering at least two complete larger project life cycles will stand out.
You could be someone who has either worked as a Digital Project Manager for several Earth rotations, with a fundamental understanding of full-service life cycle (analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and improvement) or someone who is a seasoned Project Manager (with proven experience in technical projects) who wants to work for more than just money and spend a few years doing something they can be truly proud of.
You’ll have worked on software development, data and technical projects previously (ideally within an Agile environment) and will possess knowledge of modern project management tools, frameworks and methodologies, such as RAID log, Jira, Scrum etc., as well as have had experience with data analysis and making successful data-driven decisions.
The role can be fully remote for the right candidate, but if you do fancy popping in every now and again, their Head Office is based in Cambridge.
