AWS Site Reliability Engineer – SRE Full Time

I bet you’ve read so many adverts that all sound the same by now, so I’ll try to be different and not bore you to death!

In essence, I am after someone who loves AWS, Dev, and Ops, equally.

I’m working with a FinTech company who are trying to reduce blockers that often occurs in the open banking sector, to give their customers a great experience.

You’ll be helping them achieve this goal by building cloud infrastructure that is scalable, secure and resilient, that will be used by lots of people!

The main technologies, tools, and concepts you’ll use are;

Programming and scripting with Python or Golang, security, containers, Kubernetes, AWS, GKE, Elastic Search, Bamboo, Single Sign On, Prometheus, Graphana, Jaeger, Git, and MariaDB. If you’ve used similar tech to achieve the same effect, that’s fine, don’t worry!

The role is fully remote, but they have an office in Berlin, so you’re welcome to go over there up to a couple times per month (travel restrictions permitting), if you so desire.

They have a lovely team of friendly and talented people, a great approach to remote working, lots of interesting work to do (although, if you’re not up for a regulated environment that a Fintech company operates in then this probably won’t be right for you), career progression that is baked in as it’s a start up (so as the company grows, your seniority will too), great salary, equity and benefits.
