“Global software consultancy + New UK office with mega growth plans + Opportunity for 2 talented/personable mid-level Agile PMs. Pay + Culture + Progression = EXCEPTIONAL. Call XXXX XXXXXX”
Luckily job adverts don’t have be written in 30 words or less for the newspaper anymore. But if I really had to, that’s the best you’d probably get from me. But let me tell you more 🙂
I know, I know, there are lots of good jobs out there right? You’ve never had it so good…I get it! But hear me out…
How many offer the chance to be employee number 2 or 3 for a brand new office (100+ people planned eventually) for one of the world’s top software consultancies? Now that doesn’t come along everyday!
Here, you’ll get to work with amazing global teams of crack engineers, analysts and managers who work on some of the highest profile projects anywhere, in a culture of empowerment, collaboration and meritocracy.
The Director for this new office is incredibly excited about the potential to build his own team of highly-capable engineers and project/programme managers who will work largely remotely, but use Nottingham as their base to meet up every so often (they are looking at new offices here as we speak).
Unlike a lot of similar Project Management roles out there your industry background doesn’t matter all that much here. Sure, any experience of FinTech would be nice (the immediate project would be financial/payments systems related), but the director here is looking for innate talent and ability. So, if you’re a Software/Agile PM delivering retail systems, SaaS based B2B/B2C products, E-learning platforms or whatever else, he doesn’t care, as long as you have the talent and structured PM approach to add value on whatever software project or client you work with.
You’ll need to be amazing at working with developers and bringing the technical elements of delivery together. You don’t need to code or have been a programmer in the past, but it is a technical PM role, so you’ll need to enjoy delivering software projects and have the battle scars from several previous Agile deliveries.
The salary on offer is negotiable, but likely in the range of £50k – £70k + bonus (almost always gets paid!) + health/life assurance, gym contribution and 25 days holiday.
This is exclusive to Rebel, so your precious time won’t be wasted. If you’re right for the role, you’ll know within days of speaking with them, so if this could be of interest please apply for a guaranteed reply or call us!
