Unlike many of our competitors, we run a ‘boots on the ground’ model where we encourage our recruiters to meet as many candidates as possible, either at our offices or at local meetups/events that we invite them to.
This gives us a chance to build diverse, exclusive relationships with candidates. Moreover, as a candidate-led recruitment company we work harder to build deeper relationships with our candidates which in turn, leads to multiple referrals to other in-demand candidates who would often otherwise not consider working with an agency (due to bad previous experiences). We sponsor and have hosted (pre-Covid) several tech meetups in Nottingham including NottsTest, NottsDevWorkshop, PHPMinds, NottsJS, NottsIoT and our latest addition, DevOpsNotts.

We are, without doubt, one of the most visible and proactive tech recruiters in the UK. All of our activity in the local tech market allows us to build unparalleled credibility with tech/digital job hunters and makes us the recruiter of choice for many of them when they look for their next move.
Here at Rebel we are increasingly using video to drive engagement and increase brand salience. We’ve trained our recruiters to create engaging videos for both prospecting and candidate sourcing and we would look to utilise high-energy compelling video content wherever possible.
Finally, as most of our placements are made from within our network (as opposed to advertising), our focus on building an open, collaborative team structure where people share leads and draw on each other’s networks, is perhaps our biggest selling point when it comes to how we will attract candidates to your vacancies!
